About Marsha

MarshaMarsha oversees the Collections and Resource Management unit of the Michael Schwartz Library which includes acquisitions, cataloging, collection management, course reserves, digital initiatives, donations, electronic resources, government documents, knowledge-bases, serials, University Archives, and the Department of Special Collections. She provides leadership for creation and maintenance of the Michael Schwartz Library’s digital initiatives including the Cleveland Memory Project and EngagedScholarship@CSU. She also coordinates the integration of metadata creation, use and practices throughout the library to enable discoverability of the Library’s digital resources.

Previously, she managed a variety of collaborative digital projects at The College of Wooster and assisted in the creation of online collections and exhibits at Oberlin College.

Marsha is also a photographer, and her art background earned her the role of Cleveland State University contact for Octavofest. CSU was one of the founding members, which included events throughout Northeast Ohio celebrating the book and paper arts every October until 2020.

Marsha has a Bachelor of Science in Photo-Illustration and Master of Library and Information Science from Kent State University.
